NEWSFLASH: Nobody cares about your high school

Dear Freshmen,

I overhear your conversations, how big your high school was, how challenging the curriculum was, whether you had AP or IB classes, etc. etc. I just want to reassure you that no one cares. I know these identity markers feel like a big deal now. I know you are eager to differentiate yourself from your peers, but my dear students, this is not the way.

If you want to distinguish yourself, do it by having the highest vibration in the room. By being the kindest, or the most prepared, or the most available to colleagues in need of a listening ear. Do it by shedding whatever bondage or baggage your high school experience laced you with, and living free and clear in the here and now.

We care about you. But seriously. No one cares about your high school.

Love,

Doktura Ann!!!
